Lemon Garden - Barbeque Collections & Cocktail Bar
At the centre of Acharavi and located five steps below street level, a unique and stylish restaurant is set within a forty-year-old lemon garden that extends nearly as far as the eye can see. This shady garden beckons one inside on a hot summer day to enjoy a continental lunch or a cool drink; and at night the sounds of live jazz in this splendid setting punctuates the atmosphere for cocktails and dinner cooked on an open barbeque.
Opened in 2004 by owner Soula Plotsika, the Lemon Garden was an instant hit with both tourists and Corfiots alike. The genuine hospitality extended to each and every guest, as well as a menu both diverse and appetising, has ensured the restaurant its well deserved reputation.
Of course the measure of
any restaurant is its food, and
Lemon Garden offers both variety and
quality with each preparation. From the bar-
beque you can enjoy meats and fishes traditionally
prepared over open coals, as well as a variety of different
gyros served in 20 different ways. You might also choose from an
array of homemade pizzas, or select any of the unique and original ap-
petisers. All the wines served at the Lemon Garden are produced from their
home grown grapes, and the homemade desserts are sure to make dining at the Lemon Garden a truly memorable experience. The word is out; and you are cordially invited to a delightful and contemporary dining experience.
From the Lemon Garden's vast bar collection, you can enjoy over 200 unique cocktails. Be sure to try a Mochito made with fresh limes and mint from the garden. Or perhaps Rumi Caperinia is more to your taste.
A few of the Lemon Garden's barbeque collections include stuffed chicken with feta, red pepper and rosemary; pork spare rib chop; grilled steak with roqufort sauce; grilled octopus; giant ocean prawns; grilled salmon; lamb "Kleftiko".
Whatever your choice (and the menu is indeed vast and diverse) you will not be disappointed as all entrees are expertly prepared with care and attention to every detail.
The Lemon Garden Barbeque Collections Restaurant is surely one of Acharavi's finest restaurants, and we are certain that once you visit and sample the fine food and genuine hospitality, you will certainly agree. The Lemon Garden is open from March (weekends only during March and April) through the end of October. Lunch is served daily, drinks are available at all hours, and dinner is served until late. Entertainment is scheduled most nights, from Latin and Reggae bands to jazz and Greek music. Lounge amongst the flowers listening to the performers, or get up and dance beneath the trees. The evening is yours, and your hostess promises a memorable dining and entertainment experience.
